4 cups crispy rice cereal

1 cup mini marshmallows

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Optional: fresh parsley for garnish

Prep Your Space: Begin by greasing a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter. This will help the treats release easily once set.

    Melt the Butter: In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Once melted, add the mini marshmallows and stir continuously until they are completely melted and smooth.

      Incorporate Flavors: Once the marshmallows are melted, reduce the heat to low. Add in the salt, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper. Mix well to combine all the flavors.

        Add Crispy Rice Cereal: Gradually add the crispy rice cereal to the melted marshmallow mixture, stirring gently until all the cereal is evenly coated. Take care not to crush the cereal too much.

          Mix in the Cheese: Remove the saucepan from heat and fold in the shredded cheddar cheese until it's well-distributed. The residual heat will help melt some of the cheese, adding a delicious cheesiness to your treats.
