Ingredients

2 large sweet potatoes

3 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon cumin

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for a savory boost)

Fresh herbs (like parsley or cilantro) for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) to ensure it’s hot enough for crispy wedges.

Prepare the Sweet Potatoes: Wash and scrub the sweet potatoes thoroughly. Cut them in half lengthwise, then slice each half into wedges about 1-inch thick.

Season the Wedges: In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well. Add the sweet potato wedges to the bowl and toss until all the wedges are evenly coated with the seasoning mixture.

Arrange on Baking Sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup. Spread the seasoned sweet potato wedges in a single layer on the baking sheet, ensuring they are not crowded for even cooking.

Bake the Wedges: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping the wedges halfway through, until they are golden and tender. If you’re using Parmesan cheese, sprinkle it over the wedges in the last 5 minutes of baking.

Garnish and Serve: Once baked, remove the wedges from the oven and let them cool for a couple of minutes. Garnish with freshly chopped herbs and serve warm. Enjoy your Sweet Potato Bliss Wedges with your favorite dipping sauce or enjoy them plain!
