Ingredients

1 package (12 oz) wonton wrappers

8 oz feta cheese, crumbled

1 cup fresh spinach, chopped (or 1 cup frozen spinach, thawed and drained)

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 clove garlic, minced

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Fresh herbs (like parsley or dill), for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Prepare the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the crumbled feta cheese, chopped spinach, cream cheese, grated Parmesan, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.

Assemble the Wonton Cups: Lightly grease a muffin tin with olive oil. Take one wonton wrapper and gently press it into a muffin cavity, making sure it covers the sides and bottom. Repeat with the remaining wrappers until all caverns are filled.

Fill the Cups: Spoon the spinach and feta mixture evenly into each wonton wrapper, filling them almost to the top.

Add Egg Wash: Brush the edges of the wonton wrappers with the beaten egg to give a golden color to the cups when baked.

Bake: Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven and bake for about 15-18 minutes or until the wonton edges are crispy and golden brown.

Cool & Serve: Remove the muffin tin from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes. Carefully remove the wonton cups. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve warm or at room temperature.
