Ingredients

8 oz penne pasta

2 cups cooked, shredded chicken (rotisserie chicken works great!)

1 cup Caesar dressing (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup romaine lettuce, chopped

1 clove garlic, minced

1 tsp Italian seasoning

¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup croutons, for topping

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Mix the Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, shredded chicken, Caesar dressing, half of the grated Parmesan cheese, cherry tomatoes, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes (if using). Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Assemble the Dish: Transfer the chicken and pasta mixture to a large baking dish (around 9x13 inches) or divide among individual oven-safe bowls.

Top it Off: Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese and croutons evenly over the top of the pasta mixture.

Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.

Add the Greens: Once out of the oven, let the dish cool for a few minutes before stirring in the chopped romaine lettuce. This will add a nice crunch and freshness to each bowl.

Garnish and Serve: Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and additional Parmesan if desired. Serve warm and enjoy your delicious Baked Chicken Caesar Pasta Bowls!
