Baked Cheddar Ranch Chicken

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix

1 cup sour cream

2 tbsp olive oil

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

½ tsp garlic powder

½ tsp onion powder

½ tsp black pepper

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking dish by lightly greasing it with cooking spray or olive oil.

    Prepare Chicken: Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Season both sides lightly with salt and pepper.

      Make the Ranch Coating: In a medium bowl, combine the sour cream and ranch seasoning mix until well blended.

        Coat Chicken: Brush each chicken breast with the ranch mixture, ensuring each piece is generously coated.

          Prepare Topping: In a separate bowl, mix the panko breadcrumbs, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until evenly combined.

            Add Topping: Press the breadcrumb mixture onto the top of each ranch-coated chicken breast to create a thick, cheesy crust.
