Ingredients

4 large buttery croissants

4 large eggs

1/2 cup milk (or cream for a richer flavor)

1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your favorite blend)

1/2 cup diced cooked ham or bacon

1/2 cup diced bell peppers (red and green for color)

1/4 cup finely chopped green onions

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tsp garlic powder

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the Croissants: Slice each croissant in half lengthwise. Gently pull apart the layers to create a boat shape. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Mix the Filling: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until well combined. Stir in the cheese, diced ham or bacon, bell peppers, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until evenly distributed.

Fill the Croissants: Carefully spoon the egg mixture into each croissant half, filling generously but avoiding overflow to prevent mess.

Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the egg is set and the tops are golden brown.

Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve warm.
