1 cup milk (or non-dairy alternative)

1/2 cup brewed espresso or strong coffee

1 tablespoon dried rose petals (edible)

1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Whipped cream (optional, for garnish)

Extra rose petals and cardamom pods (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Infuse the Milk: In a small saucepan, combine the milk and dried rose petals. Warm over low heat until steam begins to rise, about 5 minutes. Do not let it boil. Remove from heat and let it steep for an additional 5–10 minutes to develop the rose flavor.

    Strain the Milk: Once infused, strain the milk through a fine mesh sieve into a separate container to remove the rose petals.

      Combine Ingredients: In the same saucepan, return the strained milk and add ground cardamom, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Stir well to combine. Heat gently until warm, ensuring it doesn't boil.

        Froth the Milk: If you have a milk frother, froth the milk mixture until you achieve a creamy and frothy consistency. If you don’t, you can whisk it vigorously by hand for a few minutes until frothy.

          Prepare the Coffee: Brew your espresso or strong coffee and pour it into a large mug.

            Assemble the Latte: Slowly pour the frothed cardamom rose milk over the coffee. Use a spoon to hold back the foam if you want to layer it.

              Garnish and Serve: Top with whipped cream if desired, and sprinkle with extra dried rose petals and a couple of whole cardamom pods for an aromatic finish.
