3 medium-sized apples (preferably Granny Smith or Honeycrisp), peeled and diced

1 cup of granulated sugar

1 cup of self-rising flour

    Prepare the Apples: In a mixing bowl, peel and dice your apples into small chunks. If you prefer a smoother cake, you can also grate them.

      Mix Ingredients: Add the granulated sugar to the bowl of diced apples and stir well to combine. Next, gradually sprinkle in the self-rising flour while continuing to mix the ingredients. The apples will release some moisture, which will help bring the batter together.
